Nikon 8371 Forestry 550 Laser Rangefinder

The Nikon Forestry 550 Rangefinder is a sophisticated measuring device for many varied applications. Starting with a waterproof 6x21 6.0° monocular design with 18mm of eye relief, Nikon's incorporated an inclinometer and hypsometer in addition to the standard laser rangefinder mechanism. Thus the Forestry 550 can sense its angle relative to level, and can use this information along with the rangefinder to tell you the height of an object or the vertical distance between two points. As light conditions lower and contrast improves, so too does any rangefinder's accuracy, and the Forestry 550 can be an awfully impressive measurement tool for a diverse range of applications.
