At Pawn America, we’re not just part of the community—we’re actively committed to uplifting it.
Our giving initiatives allow us to create positive change where we live and work. Here's how we’re making a difference:
Committed to the Burnsville Police & Fire Foundation
Pawn America in Minnesota and Wisconsin proudly donates annually to the Burnsville Police & Fire Foundation in support of the first responders who protect and serve our community. These donations help fund new programs, training, health initiatives, equipment, and technologies that fall outside departmental budgets. Pawn America is proud to be a devoted supporter of our police and fire departments.
Committed to the Burnsville Festival Celebration
Pawn America has donated $10,000 to $20,000 each year to support our local Burnsville Festival & Fire Muster Community Celebration, a 501C3 annual festival fundraiser 3-day event that brings the community together to connect and recreate to raise money to goes back to nearly 20 local area non-profits, like 360 Communities food shelf and crisis housing, Lions Club, Rotary Club, many youth sports organizations, churches and more who all provide important community support for families in need. Pawn America is proud to give back to our community in a variety of ways that enriches and supports our most vulnerable families in need.
Committed to Tinsel, Treats & Giving
Tinsel, Treats & Giving is a special event that Pawn America and the Rixmann family is proud to support each year. It brings the community together during the holiday season to spread joy, generosity, and connection. We’re honored to donate our financial resources to help make this event meaningful for those it serves and to be part of something that celebrates giving back.
Commited to Heart of the City Race
Since 2012, Pawn America has organized the Heart of the City Race, later transformed into A Run to Remember. This special event was inspired in part by the tragic loss of a loved one and invites participants to honor friends and family through the run. All proceeds go directly to the Kids Feeding Kids program.
Committed to Kids Feeding Kids.
Pawn America co-sponsors Kids Feeding Kids with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities to help local children facing hunger. The program provides free, nutritious meals several times a week, including on school release days, while also empowering youth through cooking and nutrition classes. Reignited in 2006 by Pawn America leadership, the program continues today thanks to strong community support.
Commited to Hennepin County Sheriff Foundation (HCSF).
We’re proud founding partners of the Hennepin County Sheriff Foundation, an independent nonprofit devoted to strengthening public safety through youth-focused programs, outreach, education, and scholarships. Pawn America specifically supports HCSF’s scholarship initiatives.
