DeLorme Earthmate PN-40 Waterproof Hiking GPS

A handheld GPS equipped with a bright color screen and features a 32-channel STMicroelectronics Cartesio chipset and a dual-core processor for fast map and satellite imagery redraws. It supports a variety of display options including DeLorme Topo USA topographic maps, color aerial imagery, USGS 7.5-minute topographic quad maps, and NOAA nautical charts. The device also offers a 360-degree raster rotation capability, enhancing navigation accuracy by aligning images with real-world directions. Additional features include a 3-axis electronic compass with accelerometer that works in any position, a sensitive barometric altimeter for accurate altitude readings, and SDHC card support up to 32 GB. The PN-40 is waterproof to the IEC 529 IPX7 standard, functions effectively in extreme temperature ranges from -20 degrees C to +75 degrees C, and is designed to withstand high-humidity and high-vibration environments.
