Works in tandem with the SIERRA3 BDX rifle scope, using Ballistic Data Xchange (BDX) and Bluetooth, to automatically illuminate a holdover dot on targets at long range. The rangefinder can also be used standalone or with the free SIG Ballistic App for customer ballistic data at your fingertips. The KILO 1800BDX uses Low Energy Bluetooth 4.0 for synchronizing up to 25 custom ballistic profiles between the free SIG Ballistic App and the rangefinder. The KILO 1800BDX also uses AMR (Angle Modified Range) to give true horizontal distances to the target in relation to the Earth's crust, and line-of-sight mode when needed.
