An open-world role-playing game set in the Paldea region, inspired by the Iberian Peninsula. Players attend Naranja Academy and embark on a region-wide "Treasure Hunt" while partnering with the legendary Pokémon Koraidon. The game offers three main story paths: Victory Road, where players challenge eight Gyms to become Champion; Path of Legends, focused on hunting Titan Pokémon with Arven to heal his companion; and Starfall Street, where players dismantle Team Star under the guidance of Penny and Director Clavell. Completing these paths unlocks a final route, The Way Home, which explores Area Zero, the origin of ancient Paradox Pokémon and the site of a failed time machine built by Professor Sada. The story culminates in a battle against the AI version of the professor to save Paldea's ecosystem. The game introduces features such as open-world exploration, Auto Battles, and traversal abilities via Koraidon.
