Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star Crossed World (Nintendo Switch 2, 2025)

A 3D platform game in which players guide Kirby through a series of stages to rescue captured Waddle Dees. Kirby can jump, slide, inhale enemies and objects, and either spit them out as projectiles or swallow them to gain copy abilities, with Drill and Ranger introduced as new options alongside returning ones. A new Mouthful Mode system allows Kirby to swallow and control larger objects such as cars and vending machines. A second player can join in as Bandana Waddle Dee, who attacks with a spear. Copy abilities can be upgraded at Waddle Dee's Weapons Shop in Waddle Dee Town, the main hub area, using Rare Stones earned from Treasure Road levels. As more Waddle Dees are rescued, the town expands and unlocks minigames including fishing, working at Waddle Dee Café, and a tilt-based puzzle minigame, with Amiibo functionality also supported. In the story, a dark vortex over Dream Land pulls Kirby into a new world inhabited by the ruins of an ancient civilization and a hostile group called the Beast Pack, who have kidnapped the Waddle Dees
