The instrument automatically corrects alignment within a 4-degree self-leveling range. It provides an accuracy of plus or minus 1/8 inch at 60 feet, or 3mm at 20 meters, and reaches a working range of up to 100 feet when paired with a detector. This configuration allows horizontal and vertical reference lines to be established without additional equipment, combining the functionality of multiple separate laser tools into one device.
