The finish on the laptop lid has some worn spots and scratches near its top edge that show the dark surface underneath. The laptop lid also has several small, light scratches and marks on it. The bottom of the laptop is covered with light scratches, with heavier scratching along its edges. The right side of the laptop has light scratches around its USB ports.
