Features
An underground cable and wire locator designed to trace the path and determine the depth of buried conductors on both active and dead systems. The lightweight receiver provides audible and visual indications of signal strength for accurate identification, while the transmitter offers three methods of connection: direct, inductive coupler, or inductive antenna. The inductive coupler clamps around a wire or pipe for use on active lines or where isolating the line is not possible, and the inductive antenna is built into the transmitter case, allowing the unit to be placed on the ground over the wire path to radiate a signal down onto the conductor. Both transmitter output and receiver sensitivity are fully adjustable, and the system is capable of tracing over distances up to 4,000 feet (1.2 km) and depths to 7 feet (2.2 m).
