Features
An analog cabinet and miking simulator designed for guitar amplifiers. In studio and stage environments, the unit replaces the physical guitar speaker cabinet and microphone setup. It allows for varied speaker and microphone simulations while retaining level-dependent loudspeaker characteristics and microphone distances. The device features fully analog construction to ensure a direct latency-free response. Critical internal components include selected operational amplifiers and High-Z transformers. A 200-Watt Power Soak feature allows amplifier distortion to be integrated into the sonic design. Connectivity includes a Speaker Thru output for direct signals and line outputs with separate balancing drivers for different routings. Recorded sounds remain independent from room characteristics. The unit follows customary standards for amplifier and cabinet connections and operates without requiring prior miking expertise.
