Features
The Snap-on Tools EECS150 12-Volt Corded Basic Battery System Tester provides fast, accurate diagnostics for 12V batteries in cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, and more. Using patented conductance technology, it tests standard and AGM batteries rated from 100 to 1,400 CCA and displays the percentage of cold cranking amps for clear condition assessment. It supports multiple rating systems including CCA, SAE, EN, and IEC.
The backlit screen displays menus and results in one of eight selectable languages, while reverse polarity protection enhances safe operation. Designed with a comfortable horizontal handhold, soft grips, and easy-access buttons, it also detects battery voltage as low as 6 volts and provides voltage-based starter and alternator results. The unit draws power directly from the battery being tested for convenient operation.
