Features
A rack-mount style base station radio featuring a 6-digit red LED frequency readout, AM, CW, FM, USB, and LSB modes of operation, and a built-in heavy-duty AC power supply. It covers a frequency range of 28.015 to 29.655 MHz with 10 KHz tuning steps, frequency tolerance of 0.005%, and frequency stability of 0.001%. The front panel includes dual illuminated meters displaying received signal strength, RF power output, and antenna SWR, along with a 2-stage clarifier control offering separate coarse and fine tuning for precise signal selection. Additional front panel controls include a large frequency selector knob, variable dimmer control, RF gain control with SWR calibration, mic gain control, separate adjustable volume and squelch controls, an advanced noise filter circuit switch, automatic noise limiter switch, and noise blanker switch. The unit also features an end-of-transmission signal tone, echo tone, adjustable talk-back control, a 2-color transmit/receive indicator, and front panel, external headphone, and external speaker jacks. Antenna impedance is 50 ohms, and the operating temperature range is -20 to +50 degrees C. The unit operates on 110 VAC at 60 Hz, with 220 VAC at 50 Hz available as an optional configuration.
