Features
A 4-channel power amplifier that fits in two rack spaces, delivering 250W per channel at 8 ohms in stereo mode, 400W per channel at 4 ohms in stereo mode, 500W at 16 ohms in bridged mono, and 800W at 8 ohms in bridged mono. It employs PowerWave switching power supply technology, which charges the supply rails 230,000 times per second through an ultra-low impedance circuit to provide ample current to the audio circuitry, resulting in tighter bass, cleaner highs, reduced waste heat, and lower noise and hum compared to conventional supply designs. Each channel features 1 dB detented gain controls and accepts input via XLR or detachable Euro-style 3-position barrier block connectors. An HD-15 DataPort connector provides QSControl computer control for channel pairs 1+2 and 3+4. Outputs are handled through six-position barrier strips with monitor connections, grouped by channel pairs 1+2 and 3+4. Input impedance is rated at 6 kO unbalanced and 12 kO balanced.
