Novation Launchkey 49 MK4 49-Key MIDI Keyboard Controller

A 49-key MIDI keyboard controller featuring velocity-sensitive synth-weight keys and a comprehensive set of performance and production controls. The 16 RGB-backlit FSR performance pads offer velocity sensitivity and polyphonic aftertouch for expressive playing, while continuous encoders, faders, fader buttons, and pitch/modulation controls can be mapped and assigned to support a wide range of creative configurations. A vivid OLED screen provides real-time information for chords, scales, and other parameters. The built-in generative arpeggiator includes 8-part per-step editing for constructing rhythms and runs with any MIDI-compatible instrument. Fixed Chord, User Chord, and Chord Maps modes offer multiple approaches to chord performance, and three Scale Modes allow locking into one of 30 included scales with variable filtering, muting, and remapping. Connectivity includes MIDI over USB-C and a 5-pin MIDI output for integration with external hardware, along with a sustain pedal jack. Enhanced transport controls support seamless integration with DAW and plug-in workflows, and up to four customizable mapping profiles can be built and recalled. The controller's refined form factor and minimalist layout combine intuitive interfacing with a clean, robust build.
