MTX S6512-44 500W RMS 12" Dual 4-Ohm Square Car Audio Subwoofer
specifications
Features
A 12-inch dual 4-ohm square car audio subwoofer from the S65 Series, engineered to deliver high SPL output with 500 watts RMS power handling. It features a 2.0-inch high temperature voice coil, patented surround geometry, and Spider Plateau Venting, a mechanical cooling process that continuously circulates cool air to the voice coil while expelling hot air, improving reliability and longevity during extended play. The specially designed backplate increases surface area to conduct and dissipate heat away from the voice coil, reducing distortion over prolonged use, while the radial ribbed T-Yoke further aids in heat dissipation and distortion reduction. The subwoofer has a total diameter of 12.63 inches (320.7mm), a driver diameter of 10.64 inches (260.7mm), a mounting depth of 6.94 inches (176.2mm), and a cut-out diameter of 11.13 inches (282.6mm).
