Features
A device designed to measure the thickness of coatings on all types of metal substrates, making it suitable for powder coaters, paint applicators, and coating inspectors. It features an easy-to-read oversized LCD display that is reversible for convenient reading when the gauge is inverted, and it includes a NIST traceable calibration certificate with no calibration required for most applications. The gauge is equipped with a strong, wear-resistant, ruby-tipped probe with a V-groove for accurate positioning on cylindrical parts, along with a ZERO feature for rough or curved surfaces and a RESET feature for use when no zero reference is available. Measurements are indicated both audibly and visibly, and the unit is switchable between mils and microns, with basic instructions printed on the back of each gauge.
