The Akai Professional MPC Studio is a compact music production controller that combines classic MPC hardware workflow with modern computer power for beat-making and electronic music production. It features 16 backlit, velocity-sensitive pads, a touch strip encoder, and a full set of MPC controls, including transport, Note Repeat, and swing functions, providing an authentic hands-on experience.
The included software offers a 128-track sequencer and versatile sample processing, supporting WAV, MP3, AIFF, REX, SND, and other formats, with full backwards compatibility for legacy MPC samples and sequences. It can be used standalone or as a VST/AU plug-in, hosting additional plug-ins with real-time mapping and adjustments, while over 100 instruments and effects expand creative possibilities. Its slim, portable design makes it easy to take anywhere, compatible with both macOS and Windows systems.

This controller is previously owned and inspected fully. There is light surface and handling wear on the body and pads from light use and handling. We're unable to test the unit fully, but it powers on and appears to be working normally. See images for details.
